Evaluation of Melting Mechanism and Natural Convection Effect in a Triplex Tube Heat Storage System with a Novel Fin Arrangement

In this research, a numerical analysis is accomplished aiming to investigate the effects of adding new design fins arrangement vertical triplex tube latent heat storage system during melting mechanism and evaluate natural convection effect using Ansys Fluent software. tube, phase change material (PCM) included in middle while transfer fluid (HTF) flows through interior exterior pipes. The proposed are triangular attached pipe inside PCM domain two different ways: (1) base connected pipe, (2) tip part directed domain. height calculated have volume equal that uniform rectangular fins.
